Hello, everyone! Welcome to Actors.Com.Mx, where you can vote for and talk about your favorites in the world of acting. Despite being named Actors.Com.Mx, we don't actually limit our interests to just actors; actresses are pretty much a welcome topic here to. But we must caution you that this site prohibits any discussion relating to the private lives of these artists – no posts about clandestine love affairs, please, unless it is of a highly-publicized wedding. No, what we are most interested in here in Actors.Com.Mx are their actual talent and performances, not the aspects of their fame (or infamy, as it were). We believe that there should be no actual merit in terms of focusing on celebrity rather than skill, because that is what encourages people to have very base, very shallow understanding of the craft of being an actor or actress.
That being said, pretty much anything goes in this site, as long as a.) the actors and actresses being discussed are respected even if their talent or performance is lacking, b.) there will be no flaming of any sort in response to properly expressed opinions and c.) no post or reply should consist of one sentence only – there should at least be three. As long as we abide by the rules, there is much fun to be had in debating the acting skills of these performance artists.
